On Valentine’s Day I celebrated my 34th birthday! I started the day in Miami and ended it in Boston (what a whirlwind). I wanted to recap all the cool related Tiffany birthday celebrations.
The special gifts started early when my husband surprised me with beautiful Tiffany blue roses a week prior to my birthday. Side note, I traveled for work the entire week leading into my bday. These roses are extra cool because they can last up to three years. You do not water them and can’t remove them from the box they are sent in. If you want to order some for yourself or send a hint to a loved one I’ve linked them here.
The process of these roses that allows them to live for so long is quite interesting. I’ve included a description from the website below:
Our roses are grown in the verdant, sun-drenched fields of Ecuador. Only the most perfect, beautiful and vibrant roses are selected for use within our designs. Our team of floral experts then perform a sophisticated technique allowing the flowers to maintain their natural, fresh cut appearance. Instead of leaving them to dry, they undergo a rehydration process that involves being placed within a mixture of glycerine and other plant elements. This liquid gradually rises through the stem transforming the rose into the longest-lasting flower on the market.
As I mentioned, I started the morning in Miami for work. This work trip gave me a unique chance to meet a sales professional at the Bal Harbour Tiffany & Co. that I follow on Instagram. If you don’t follow @michele.sgarbi you should. She posts some of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry and beautiful love stories. She did a wonderful job making my birthday extra special.
Upon arrival, she had me pick out a few fancy items to try on and we then proceeded to make our way into one of their private spaces.
I had the chance to sip on a newly released tea, the Tiffany Valentine designed exclusively for Tiffany & Co. It is an evocative, lush bouquet of Jasmine Silver needles, lavender, and rose made to stir the heart and enchant the eye. It also has a delicate backdrop of hibiscus and orange blossoms. It was as tasty as it was beautiful.
How divine are the Tiffany Blue macaroons and chocolates? And hello to the diamonds!! But what made my day and was completely unexpected was the gift she gave me….a Tiffany Blue umbrella. These are not for sale but I’ve always dreamed of having one!
I can’t thank you enough Michele, it was a delight meeting you in person and learning more about your family and retail background. I promise I will be back!
So I mentioned earlier, the day ended in Boston. Which for my beloved followers you know the Boston Tiffany & Co will always hold a special place in my heart and Maria is my go-to sales professional. If you don’t follow her on Instagram be sure to @mkapsaskis. It wouldn’t be a true birthday without visiting her which is what we did Saturday morning.
Once again I got to try on some beautiful jewels. The earrings in the first picture are Morganite. And I just can’t with the second picture. Thirty carats of diamonds in the necklace and 7 carats in the earrings. Those are some show stopping pieces.
Maria is always extremely generous to me and gifted me this fabulous Tiffany & Co writing set for my birthday. It is such a thoughtful gift that I will cherish. It’s so pretty I almost don’t want to use it!
The celebrations continued with my family on Sunday where we were able to enjoy a delicious cake created by Savy Designs. Savahna is from my hometown and has an incredible talent at cake design. She took my 3-D cake request and blew it out of the water. Not only does it look fabulous but it tastes delicious too. You should check her out on Facebook.
I mean it’s a dream cake for a fellow Tiffany & Co. lover like me!
So you would think the Tiffany related celebrations would end here….but my in-laws decided to give me a good laugh. They gave my two gift cards from Tiffany & Co, but they hid one on the bottom and put quite the necklace as a joke inside the box. Check out the photos below.
My nail technician Nancy also made my birthday by hunting for and FINALLY finding the perfect Tiffany Blue nail color. Again, another person that is beyond talented. Follow her nail work on Instagram @nancys_fancy.
I will end this post by saying as nice as it is to receive gifts, I enjoy giving to others the most. This is why teaming up with Maria for a Valentine’s Day giveaway was perfect and I was able to announce the winner on my birthday weekend. The winner was Lisa, who I actually know and lives in the same city as me. We gifted her the Tiffany T mini smile pendant in sterling silver. I’ve included a photo of her below pairing the necklace with her Diamonds by the Yard necklace.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support and birthday wishes. Let’s meet real soon….at Tiffany & Co. of course.
