Madison’s First Birthday Celebration

It’s hard to believe that my sweet girl is officially 1-years-old, I can’t quite figure out where the time went. It seems like we just brought her home from the hospital and were figuring out how to be parents. And now she is taking steps and growing by the day!

Most people were surprised that we didn’t do a Tiffany themed birthday party for her, instead I went with a Carousel themed party! I will save the Tiffany theme for when she’s a bit older.

However I kind of started this thing of placing her in a Tiffany box when she was just 1-month-old and decided I needed to continue the tradition. Such a big difference between those three photos, I can’t wait to see what she looks like inside the box at 2-years-old.

Being a mom has been such a great experience for me. I was terribly nervous about it all but luckily everything came naturally and she’s been an easy baby from day one and an EXCELLENT SLEEPER (Can I get an AMEN). I don’t want to rush the time, but I also can’t wait to see the little lady she grows into.

I decided to start the tradition of gifting Madison one item from Tiffany & Co. for her birthday each year. For her first birthday, with the help of the fabulous Maria Lagas at the Copley Place location in Boston I decided to get her the Tiffany Notes charm with an M and had it engraved on the back with her birth date. I will wait and get a chain for it when she’s a bit older. I think it was the perfect choice and something I hope she cherishes when she gets a bit older.

So now that I have a 1-year-old for you mamas out there, what can I expect in the next year? Any surprises you encountered?

Until next time….may your day have a pop of Tiffany Blue in it.
