Happy Birthday Audrey Hepburn

We can’t let the day get away from us without wishing a Happy Birthday to Miss Audrey Hepburn. She would have been 88-years-old.

I had to share two photos, one from my 30th birthday party next to an Audrey cardboard cutout and the second from a fun photo shoot I did where I was trying to channel a bit of a modern Audrey Hepburn.

Here are some fun facts about our beloved Audrey:

1.) She was born in Brussels, Belgium

2.) Her legal birth name was Audrey Kathleen Ruston

3.) She did ballet training under Sonia Gaskell, a leading figure in Dutch ballet

4.) Her first starring role was in Roman Holiday in 1953

5.) In the 1950s she narrated two radio programs for UNICEF, retelling children’s stories of war

6.) In 1989 she was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF

7.) Her cause of death was appendiceal cancer
