Instagram’s popularity has grown immensely in the last couple of years and I find it being my “go-to” social media platform. I’m a picture person and I find it has less drama than other social sites. I can’t begin to guess how much time I waste perusing the various Tiffany and Company related hashtags (let’s be honest it’s not time wasted when Tiffany’s is involved). My personal faves are #tiffanys #tiffanyandco #tiffanyblue.
On a particular day I started noticing an account that always had beautiful Tiffany pieces featured and quickly began following her. Not long after that I learned she works as a sales professional in the Orlando Tiffany and Company. I let her know I would be traveling to Orlando and would love to stop in the store on a day she was working.
Luckily, we were able to coordinate and I visited the store while she was working. I must say Gianina is a delight. I had a wonderful time chatting about all things Tiffany and Company along with other topics. It’s always cool when you can meet someone in person you’ve only met virtually. I must say the way our conversation flowed you would have never known we had never actually met face-to-face. I love the connections I have made through a shared passion with others for Tiffany and Company.
Not to mention, she sold me the beautiful Narrow T Chain Link bracelet you see posted above. So I would say it was a successful trip and experience. A big thank you to Gianina for your hospitality and to my husband for enduring the shopping visit and being such a great photographer.
Have any of you met people you originally only engaged with virtually? Would love to hear your stories.
